About Us
The Historical Society of Kent County considers their Board the “promise to the community” that matters of policy and finance are addressed and conducted in a responsible manner. They are expected to represent the Society to other organizations and individuals within the community, and to assist in development and fund raising efforts. Many of the Board members also act as valuable volunteers in a variety of capacities. Board members are elected for three year terms, or appointed to fill out the remainder of a term in the event of a vacancy, and may be elected for a consecutive three year term.
